KNL Supports FDA Dietary Supplements Requirements

Kaneka Nutrients today announced
its support of the Food and Drug Administration’s
final rule which requires current good manufacturing practices
(cGMP) for dietary supplements,
Intended to ensure
that dietary supplements are produced in a quality
manner, are free of contaminants or impurities and
are accurately labeled, the FDA’s ruling extends
to manufacturing, packaging, labeling and storing of
dietary supplements.

Kaneka Nutrients today introduced
a new product, KanekaQ10™ EP40AN,
at the 2006 IFT Annual Meeting + FOOD EXPO® in Orlando,
Florida.
KanekaQ10™ EP40AN is an all-natural, emulsified powder
that is water-soluble. EP40AN contains 40 percent CoQ10,
which has a higher CoQ10 content than most other emulsified
powders. KanekaQ10™ EP40AN is non-GMO and has
self-affirmed GRAS status.
